1. Who We Are
Pixel Pair is a two-person web design and social media business based in Northampton, working with small businesses across the UK. We are the data controller for the information described on this page.
You can reach us any time at enquiries@pixelpair.co.uk if you have a question about your data.
2. What We Collect
We only ask for what we need to reply to you and deliver our services.
- Enquiry details: your name, email address, the service you're interested in and your message.
- Contact history: emails, WhatsApp messages and consultation notes relating to your project.
- Project material: content, images and logins you choose to share with us for your website or social media.
- Technical data: basic, non-identifying information such as your browser type and the pages you visit, only where you've allowed analytics cookies.
3. How We Use It & Our Legal Basis
Enquiry details are used to answer you, quote for work and deliver the services you ask for. Our legal basis is legitimate interest before a contract, and performance of a contract once you engage us.
Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent, which you can change at any time. We may also keep records where we are legally required to, such as invoices for accounting purposes.
We never sell your data, and we don't add you to marketing lists without asking.
4. Cookies & Your Choices
Strictly necessary cookies keep the site and enquiry form working — they can't be switched off. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner.
Your choice is stored on your own device so we can remember it on your next visit. You can update it whenever you like using the button below, or by clearing your browser storage for this site.
5. Sharing & Storage
Enquiries submitted through the site are emailed to enquiries@pixelpair.co.uk through our email delivery provider. We also use trusted hosting and social media platforms to run our services.
These providers only process your data on our instructions, and we keep the list as small as we sensibly can. Where data is handled outside the UK or EEA, we rely on providers offering appropriate safeguards.
6. How Long We Keep It
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client project records and invoices are kept for up to six years, as UK accounting rules require. Cookie preferences are kept for up to 12 months before we ask again.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time.
Email enquiries@pixelpair.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The latest version always lives on this page, so please check back from time to time.
